Thank You, Marcia Guderian

Marcia Guderian has served Whatcom Watch for many years as both a reporter of Bellingham City Council and Port Commission meetings and as the Advertising Manager. Her reporting of the Bellingham City Council meetings ends with the September 29 meeting in this issue.

Whatcom Watch is deeply grateful for these reports. Marcia started covering Port of Bellingham Commission meetings with the June 5, 2007 meeting. Those reports covered 72 votes. She started reporting on the Bellingham City Council with the May 2, 2008 meeting. Her city reports covered 1,512 votes. When combined with port votes they totaled 1,584 votes, an awe-inspiring number.

Marcia started selling ads in June of 2007 and stepped into the role of Advertising Manager in 2009 and proved very capable of managing all of the advertising accounts and the position effectively.

We are very grateful for Marcia’s substantial contribution to Whatcom Watch and we wish her well in all her future endeavors.
